The baked pineapple is a different and refined way to serve the pineapple, I flavored this fruit with contreau, brown sugar and a sprinkling of cinnamon, in cooking it released a delicious fragrance and the taste is pleasantly particular. For the cutting of the pineapple I relied on the skillful hands of my husband who, given my lack of skill in using knives, helped me in this preparation and did a really nice job.   • 1 pineapple
  • 1 cup of cointreau
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • cinnamon

Baked PineappleProcedure

How to make baked pineapple

Cut the pineapple tuft, then divide it into four parts

Cut away the central part (the woody one)


Separate the fruit from the skin with a knife

Now cut 2/3 cm thick slices and stagger them

Place the obtained pineapple slices on a baking tray
Pour the liqueur on the surface then sprinkle with brown sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon

Bake in a preheated oven at 200° and bake for 20 minutes
Serve the baked pineapple alone or accompanied by a scoop of ice cream
